Controversy	Supersonic life of Indrani came to a halt after she was arrested in August 2015 for allegedly murdering her daughter Sheena Bora in April 2012. It is alleged that Indrani had scripted the complete plot to finish Sheena off. She had included her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai. The plan reportedly was to take Sheena on a drive and execute her on the way. The evening of 24th April 2012 was the day they performed the practical of self-made theory. Indrani, according to the plan, called Sheena to see them at 6 P.M. that day. Upon the insistence of her mother, reluctant Sheena agreed for the same as they had called her saying they would let her marry Rahul, Sheena's boyfriend and Peter Mukerjea's son from her first wife. Indrani sat on the front seat while Sheena was seated alongside her stepfather Sanjeev Khanna at the rear seat. Sanjeev reportedly strangled Sheena when the driver took the rented Opel Corsa into one of the by-lanes of Bandra. Sheena's body was kept in the boot of car overnight and was dumped off the next day. No explanation has yet been confirmed. Indrani, however, is under arrest on suspicious grounds.
